Welcome to Senior Housing Insights, a new blog which examines important issues facing older Americans and the senior housing industry.
My name is Grant Milne; I’m a communications specialist with SNAPforSeniors and managing editor of this blog. While I will be writing a good portion of the posts, we will also tap guest authors to lend their expertise to a particular subject.
Expect to hear from senior-serving professionals such as case managers and social workers, as well as some senior housing providers. We will also feature posts from data experts, developers, executives and other members of the SNAPforSeniors team, each of whom will provide their own input on the issues.
It should be noted that each post will exclusively reflect the opinions of the author, who will be invited to express them without censorship (where’s the fun in homogenized viewpoints scrubbed of any potentially controversial statements?).
We encourage you to speak up if you have an opinion about the topics we discuss, be it here in our comments section or in a blog of your own. Along with education, our goal is to offer a forum for discussion of the issues important to senior-serving professionals, senior housing providers and older Americans.
