Thank you for inquiring about Emeritus at Beckett Meadows. We are an assisted living community located in the heart of Circle C. At Emeritus at Beckett Meadows, we go the extra mile to provide a special list of amenities in addition to the basic amenities package available to all our residents. It is important to us that our residents feel at home while enjoying the little “extras” that enhance their quality of life! Resident Courtyard Garden at Emeritus at Beckett Meadows, we recognize that seniors want to stay active and do the special things they enjoyed in their own homes. Therefore, we developed a resident garden in the centrally-located courtyard. Residents can enjoy the peaceful serenity of their own flower garden, complete with paved walking paths. The Weston Group therapy team provides on-site physical, speech, and occupational therapists who work from our specially designed wellness center to offer residents the added benefits to expertly tailored wellness programs. The center has a therapeutic focus for training specific modalities including strengthening, mobility, improvements in activities of daily living, and other necessary needs. A sitting area and library is conveniently located close to the dining room at Emeritus at Beckett Meadows. These cozy areas are open to all residents. The library is located upstairs in a warm nook for residents to enjoy. The books are chosen to appeal to the preferences of our residents. This inviting amenity helps enhance our atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Residents are always welcome to entertain guests in these areas as well. Our licensed beautician is available in our beauty & barber salon to meet all residents’ needs, including haircuts, colors, perms, styling, and manicures. Now you can enjoy the convenience of pampering yourself without the hassles of leaving Emeritus at Beckett Meadows! For more independent residents, we provide several laundry facilities for convenience and accessibility. These are available to use free of charge for The Park at Beckett Meadows residents. We give our residents peace of mind with our 24-hour on-site staff. To get the real experience of Emeritus at Beckett Meadows you need to stop by for a tour of our community. You can do this at your convenience as we have managers here 7 days a week and until 7pm on weekdays

Special care programs offered for Alzheimer's and Dementia residents: 1. Family Partnerships: Requesting the participation & involvement from the family members is instrumental. Our Memory Care program offers several monthly support functions including family council meeting & support groups. Our staff is committed to communicating the progress of our residents by sending monthly updates called ‘A moment in time”. 2. Supportive Environment(s): Tailoring the resident’s environment to help the surroundings feel comfortable is accomplished by working with the family and significant others to personalize their apartment or suite. We decorate the environment with Memory Care Stations that are identifiable to residents past professions or recreational interests. Memory Care Life Stations are purposeful to ensure that our Neighborhoods offer a Sensory Driven, homelike environment. 3. Life Enrichment: It is important that the resident feels secure and safe along with receiving ongoing stimulation that promotes brain health. Our staff members have formal guidelines in place to ensure the availability of small & large group activities. Our staff members are trained to be “pro-activity directors.” Everything can and is an “activity.” Activities may include being involved in the community through intergenerational programs, interacting with our Memory Care Stations or activity kits. 4. Wellness: We take providing services & amenities in our neighborhoods one step further than most assisted living communities. By learning the resident’s history, significant habits, and preferences, we provide assistance in the context of the resident’s activity of daily living needs. For example: A resident believes that she is waiting for a beau to come pick her up for a date. We ask open-ended questions about that beau as we help her apply her make-up, and we encourage her to reminisce in an active fashion versus helping her with grooming and orienting her to reality. Our Memory Care Director also conducts care plan conferences to inform you of how your loved one is doing and if there are changes in their daily routine. 5. Team Development: Assistance from our Resident Care Director & licensed professionals is a necessity to offer superior relationship based care. To offer continued educational information to our staff our community holds specific “Join Their Journey” orientation monthly and ongoing in-services. 6. Dining Experience: It’s our goal to honor all of our resident’s preferences at each of our 3 main meals & 3 planned mini meals.
