A Lot Like Home is a new assited living facility with a maximum of six (6) residents who live in a home-like environment. The facility is family owned and operated to ensure quality staffing. The mission is to provide caring support services to older adults who may no longer wish to live alone, but wo do not need nursing care. The level of indepence is based completely on the resident's wishes and abilities. While the facility is is located on a quiet, dead end street with plenty of space for vegetable and flowering gardens, it is also convenient to interstate access and nearby shopping. Activities are planned by Activities Coordinator and include games, crafts, gardening, movies, and outings to include shopping and day trips. Menus are family style and are include resident food preferences in planning.
